Commercial Services Group, the UK’s largest local authority–owned trading organisation, has promoted chief financial officer Rob Boyles to chief executive.
Mr Boyles succeeds Matt Johnson, who has led the organisation through significant growth and transformation and will continue to support the group as the external independent chair of its Mergers & Acquisitions Panel.
Philip Dearing, chair, said: “Rob has been instrumental in the group’s success as chief financial officer, and his appointment as group chief executive ensures strong continuity of leadership and a clear focus on continued growth and delivery.”
All surpluses generated by Commercial Services Group are returned to the public purse, helping to fund essential frontline services and reinvest in the communities it serves.
